Stress

A lot of stress comes from perspective — from being too caught up in the moment. When you feel it building, take a step back. Widen the camera lens. Push the source of stress further away in your mind’s eye, and observe it from a broader angle. This won’t automatically eliminate the stress, but it will give you a clearer, more honest sense of how significant — or insignificant — this thing really is.

From there, you’re in a better position to choose which tools, strategies, or actions you want to apply. You’re not reacting — you’re responding. And that’s where control starts.
